The major fundraiser for Zonta Club of Louisville is Z Day
at Churchill Downs. Held on opening day of the spring meet since 1969, this event includes buffet meal and a full
evening of racing. In 2011, Churchill Downs changed opening day to night time racing. Typically, this fundraiser raises thousands
of dollars for service organizations that help improve the status of women in our community..
